Checked the mail today and we got our immigration (I-171h) renewal!! It's the last paper I've been waiting on before everything gets sent to China. I've been trying to be patient because I know it's all in God's timing, but those of you who know me know that's very difficult for me. I've been pretty stressed lately.
Now, the I-171h is on the way to Topeka to be certified, to Chinese Consulate in Chicago to be authenticated, then to our agency to be reviewed, finally to China with all our other documents.
Once everything gets to China (hopefully be the end of April), it takes a couple weeks to get logged in there (LID), then about 60+ days to get our final approval (LOA), another month to get travel approval (TA). After travel approval we have 6 months to make an appointment at the Consulate in china (CA). Of course once we get TA we want to travel ASAP.
We're having a garage sale this weekend to help earn money to go to China. We really want to take the boys for several reasons. I know it will be an awesome experience for them and another important reason is that I think it will be benefical for Chun Li. She is use to having a lot of kids around at the orphanage and I think she will feel more comfortable with the boys.
